you look so lovely in the rain
where tears are washed away
and the faintest hint of a smile can be seen
amongst the beams of light
the rainbow makes its way
and seem like youve never seen such beauty
like you'll never see again
for that dancing vibrant life you live
carries all the colour of creation
and it makes me smile and it makes me laugh
for through all the tears in the pouring rain
it cannot be constrained
and then i see you laugh
before you even knew you would
a laugh like the world was still young
perhaps not yet begun

where does your life come from?
who made you so beautifully?
tell me of your spirit of your dreams
of where you go and what it means
your vision seems so vivid to me now
and rose petals just keep on falling
where rose petals always would
where deepest hues and lonesome blues
are painting life alone
i notice that youre still weaving love
in that tapestry of life unknown
